Product Design Engineer – LED technology

Our client is a well established, leading name within the electrical/ lighting sector and is seeking an experienced, motivated product designer to join the dynamic team of design engineers delivering effective innovative designs for the construction industry.

Priding itself in manufacturing all of the products inhouse combined with state of the art facilities you will be joining a professional Company envied by all competitors. Using Solid Edge you will produce detailed, accurate drawings and data for manufacturing and providing the Operations team with technical support and guidance including BOMs for estimating.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Product Designer (NPI), degree educated, ideally in lighting or related (LED technology) with a full understanding and experience of the manufacturing processes including sheet metal fabrication, extrusions, die casting, mouldings. Current knowledge of LED technology for lighting including optics, thermal management and electronics of great interest.
