Technical Co-ordinator (Home & office based)
£30,000 - £35,000 basic +bonus scheme + pension, life assurance
Our client, a leader within the field of technical building products is seeking an enthusiastic team member to support the technical, sales and marketing teams to secure strong specifications with Architects and Structural Engineers and promote the brand, products and services.
After full product and industry training, tailored to your specific requirements you will be involved in supporting the Technical Manager in providing Architects, Engineers and Contractors with a high level of technical advice and preparation of correspondence / reports, CAD drawings, sectional details and specifications. Other responsibilities include project tracking, updating the CRM database and conducting specific marketing campaigns.
The ideal candidate should have a qualification (Graduate in construction/ architectural technology) or experience of the construction industry or from a technical background. You should be technically minded, highly motivated, conscientious, pro-active and organised with a desire to succeed in a challenging technical / specification sales environment. The ability to understand architectural drawings and building construction techniques is beneficial as well as experience of using CAD. You should also be comfortable on the telephone talking to Architects, Engineers and Contractors and understand the importance of promoting a positive and highly professional company image to the customer at all times.
Based Slough, Berkshire (can be 2 days home based)
