Bid Manager – Professional Lighting Solutions

You will be responsible for managing the activities required to complete successful bids for the supply of lighting solutions (including installation) including bids on framework projects and bids on non standard terms within complex, high value projects. Managing the bid team and working closely with Directors you will work to ensure a consistent level and high quality service for formal tender opportunities.
Working within an agreed strategy you will be able to identify bid opportunities and manage the level of resources needed to win each bid. You will also quantify and manage technical and contractual obligations and commercial risks on formal tender opportunities and continually develop processes to improve time, cost and risk management.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and competent bid manager with a good understanding of lighting and its applications , ideally qualified to Prince level 2. You should have an understanding of site practices and contracts, able to demonstrate strong commercial awareness together with skills to effectively lead key project negotiations with knowledge of project, risk and value management.
