Business Development Director – Electrical Accessories
£50,000-£55,000 basic + Company car/ allowance + pension expenses
Fantastic career move for an experienced hands on commercial manager with the ability and contacts to develop new channels and routes to market. Our client is a well-established distributor of wiring accessories offering a quality range of products and in inhouse assembly team for bespoke applications. Offering a great delivery service and sales support the Company is able to compete effectively on a National basis selling into the electrical wholesaler network.
This new opportunity requires an experienced electrical/ lighting sales manager with good contacts in the specification sector as well as distribution -coupled with the strategic ability to develop new channels (with the initial emphasis being on project work)
You will be heavily involved in promoting the business within new channels (architects, consultants, contractors), winning and gaining approval with specifiers as well as motivating the sales team.
The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of new product additions, markets or channels to further grow the product and service proposition, you should be a senior manager from the electrical industry who can demonstrate success in delivering and launching branded and non branded products on time and in budget to market. In summary you should be strategic, have management experience, hands on specifier contacts, understands the distribution sector and able to enhance and add to the team. You should have the capacity of thinking of the bigger picture to grow the overall business proposition.
