Business Development Manager – Lighting Components to OEMs
£42,000 - £45,000 basic + 15% bonus, car allowance, pension
Exciting new opportunity to join this well established Company with an excellent portfolio of products, known brand and a large percentage of existing accounts and business.
The main focus of the role is to account manage existing lighting OEM customers and expand product ranges into them; to look for new products to sell into the existing accounts; market and develop new client opportunities; take the lead on opportunities, both in terms of solution provision, target pricing and client dialogue, ensuring that the client’s requirements are understood and addressed in coherent and professional terms, whilst ensuring offer and margins are in-line with targets. The comprehensive product portfolio includes transformers, drivers, COB LEDs, optics and reflectors sold in at technical/purchasing level requiring business development, negotiation and rapport building skills.
The ideal candidate will have good lighting components knowledge and a proven track record (with good contacts) of selling in to lighting OEMS on the region which covers from the Midlands (Birmingham) down to the M25 so ideal living location:-South Midlands, Northern Home Counties, Oxfordshire
