We are hiring a Technical Design Manager for a high-profile senior role with a leading commercial and architectural lighting manufacturer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves combining technical expertise with leadership, and wants to play a key role in driving UK business growth.
You will lead a talented team of six designers, head up lighting solutions and special products, support major international projects, and drive technical pre-sales activity across a diverse range of high-profile lighting schemes. From CPD presentations and product training to project delivery and client support, this is a broad, strategic role with real influence.
We are looking for someone with strong people management skills, excellent communication and presentation ability, and a background in lighting manufacturing or lighting design, ideally with electrical or mechanical engineering expertise. A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel are also essential.
Location: Office based 3 days so ideally living West London, Oxfordshire, Berks, Hants, Surrey
