Internal Sales support (E Commerce) – Home based
£20,000 - £25,000 basic + bonus + 30 days holiday
Our client is a well established, commercial and residential lighting sales and design company, with a growing online presence. Continued and consistent growth has enabled ambitious plans to grow the online side of the business supported by a major investment in ecommerce technology.
Working from home you will be: reacting to triage inbound sales requests and either dealing with them yourself or passing them onto relevant team members; handling web sales opportunities, including sourcing products, generating quotes, and after sales support; chasing suppliers for pricing, lead times and other information; liaising with clients to answer queries and refine quotations; building quotation documents using the internal systems; maintaining accurate information on CRM and other sales systems and following up on all quotations to encourage timely placement of order.
The ideal candidate will have previous lighting experience and familiar with basic lighting terminology. You should have a good technical aptitude – able to quickly learn basic lighting systems, including LED and dimming technologies. You should have good written English (as all sales and support interactions involve writing emails or live text chat.) together with good general IT / Computer skills. Working from your home office requires discipline, motivation and a high level of professionalism, you will need to be highly organised as you may be dealing with 10 - 40 sales opportunities at any given time, each of which could have multiple aspects to consider and several parties involved
