International Business Development Manager – Europe, Asia, Middle East
£50,000 - £65,000 basic + OTE £80,000 + Company car + benefits
This represents an exciting and challenging senior position within a well established lighting manufacturer, managing the £6m/8m turnover in International sales and the export sales team based in UK and Europe. With growth plans in place and new product launches happening you will be the catalyst for increased growth in terms of turnover and new territories.
Working closely with the existing salesteams, distributors and agents within the various Countries you will be supporting their sales & marketing initiatives and field accompaniment on joint visits to their customers. You will also be managing and implementing strategy successfully across this division, motivating and managing resellers, developing new partnerships and opportunities whilst helping drive the sales initiative through the existing network. Business is developed through multi channels including small/medium retail chains, high end designer specification, lighting showrooms and electrical wholesalers to cater for the broad product applications for high end decorative lighting.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in International sales (European distribution management essential), distributor management and managing a £10m/£25m sector. You should have exposure to managing an inhouse team, motivating and directing them combined with leading, influencing and supporting an overseas sales team.

You will be traveling overseas at least twice per month.
