Marketing Administrator – campaigns and product launches
£25,000 - £30,000 basic, profit share, pension, 25 days holiday.
Exciting new opportunity to work for this well established electrical/ lighting business in Central London. You will be acting as a lynch pin to pull together information from several departments within the Company so as to be able to complete Marketing Campaigns in an efficient and timely fashion. Ongoing and planned campaigns include the launch of new products, the launch of a new website, roll-out of company re-branding and the production/distribution of a monthly news bulletin.
Specific duties would include: Work with Production and Sales departments to plan quarterly new-product launch campaigns using the existing company campaign template; Update and maintain the company website with the assistance of the IT consultant; Work with the R&D Dept. to ensure that launch material (specification sheets, brochures, price lists) are ready for the initial launch date. Ensure that all company literature complies with the company branding; Work with Production Dept. to organise and prepare sample kits ready for product launches and train sales staff in product USPs; Compose and distribute regular news sheets and new-product launch information to targeted customers, in line with the existing campaign schedule; Prepare benchmark product comparisons to evaluate commercial viability of proposed new products; Work with ISD (Internal Sales Department) to ensure timely follow-up of sales leads; work with external sales force to establish best practice for new product demonstrations; Manage the Company's Social Networks.
The successful candidate will therefore have to be able to demonstrate a considerable level of organisational skills as well as being adept in the composition of email communications andthe maintenance/manipulation of data bases.You should have a degree in marketing/ CIM qualification with 12 months + experience within a similar capacity, experienced in commercial marketing with a strong mix of analytical and creative skills.
