Project Manager – Construction Industry

Our client is a well-established, leading manufacturer of commercial/ architectural lighting solutions seeking an experienced project manager to manage multiple roll out lighting projects with National end users including retail, logistics and distribution Companies with contracts ranging up to £m/m.
As the Project Manager you will be home based and in the London office with 15% - 20% on site. This role encompasses all aspects of leading projects from inception to conclusion and will require supervising a number of projects, liaising with site foremen, procurement team, subcontractors, clients and office staff. You will ensure that the projects run on budget, margin is maintained with any additional work/amendments fully documented and signed off. You will keep the different variables of a project such as cost, schedule, scope, and deliverables on track. You will collaborate with the technical team and external stakeholders, including clients and third party suppliers/vendors, to ensure the optimal delivery of a project. An all encompassing project managers role attending site visits to meet clients/ contractors when necessary providing clear communication to all parties constantly throughout the project life cycle.
The ideal candidate will be a project manager experienced in running multiple roll out projects or an experienced PQS. You should have construction management experience, awareness of health and safety legislation, excellent communication and negotiation skills, financial awareness and able to set project objectives in terms of milestones, timeline and budget, and keep all stakeholders aligned with the plan.
