Technical Support Assistant
c£22,000 - £25,000 basic + benefits
Our client is an expanding, well-established manufacturer of design led innovative products and this new role is working closely with the Technical Manager supporting the salesteam in their efforts and acting as a key contact to customers and end users for product/ technical issues.
You will be involved in resolving technical issues; speaking with customer and end users about products and applications; assisting in product selection; working with the design team and internal sales department and assisting with returns procedures and explaining the findings back to the customer.
Although full training and support will be given the ideal candidate should have 18 months + experience within a manufacturer supporting a salesteam from electrical, electronics, lighting sector or a technology based role. You should have excellent technical understanding, able to converse in a clear, concise and professional manner to colleagues and by mail/ telephone to customers.
